In founding Professional Courage, Kris translated 15 years’ corporate success into a targeted mission: empowering career professionals and business owners on a path to maximizing their potential. She built a premier career-services business from the ground up, replacing a 6-figure income within 24 months of leaving her corporate position. Cited by media as Cleveland’s Top Resume Writer, Kris has cemented her reputation as NEO's preferred career partner.
With a brand formed by courage and constancy, Kris uses her own story to guide clients and audiences to success in an ever-changing job market. Promoting a focused mindset and providing tools to advance to the next level, she dispels the myth of career management as a commodity.
Kris recently earned the prestigious ACRW designation, making her one of only a handful of Academy Certified Resume Writers across the globe to also hold an MBA. A former high school dreamer with a subscription to Forbes magazine, Kris checked a big bucket list item when she was invited to become a member of the Forbes Coaches Council in 2017.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Kris now lives a suitable distance away from downtown traffic with her husband, Rick, their two children – Claire and Matthew – and a feisty retriever named Geoffrey. Claire demonstrates her bravery with backbends while Matt demonstrates his grit on the football field.
