Propel Your Business: 7 Reasons to Write Your Story

We all know the importance of marketing, networking, and gaining name recognition.  But did you also know that writing a book can help you accomplish all of that?  It’s not only good for you, but it can be great for business.

We all have stories in us, and maybe you’ve even thought to yourself or said to others, “Someday I want to write a book.” But if we second guess ourselves, don’t make it a priority, or don’t recognize the value it can bring to ourselves, others, and our business, it probably won’t happen.

Join us for this interactive session that will provide you with the opportunity to explore 7 reasons to write your story, dispel some myths that may be holding your back, and enable you to take those first steps towards embracing just how life-changing your writing journey can be.

About Our Speaker:

Gail Kerzner is a seasoned publisher, writing coach, editor, proofreader, and college English instructor who brings energy, commitment, vision, and precision to each project.  She is also the owner of the Savvy Red Pen.

Gail  has  helped scores of authors take their manuscripts from book idea to book-in-hand by offering expertise, moral support, and accountability at various stages of their process—concept, planning, evaluation, and production.

She also helps high school and graduate students craft and perfect their application and scholarship essays.  Gail’s clients get admitted to the schools of their dreams and receive thousands of scholarship dollars as a result of her draft to dream, stress to success approach.

Gail founded The Savvy Red Pen based on over 25 years of experience with LIVE Publishing Company as publisher, editor, and project manager. She has worked with hundreds of clients to help shape their ideas into must-read, compelling print and digital publications. Her diverse clients—corporations, nonprofits, and individuals— all depend on her creativity, knowledge, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines.

Gail’s goal is to make writers’ dreams a reality, whether they’re starting their journey, making progress, or feeling stuck. She guides writers forward to conquer procrastination—all with respect and encouragement.

When she is not being a wordsmith, you can find her reading her favorites like historical fiction and memoirs, volunteering to empower the needy, visiting an art museum, recharging through nature, or binging on movies.
